Summer Home Run Reading Challenge
Daytona Tortugas and Volusia County Schools are excited to present our "Summer Home Run Reading Challenge"! Students who read for 40 days this summer will earn prizes, including a game ticket to a Tortugas game on August 20, 2023. Please see the following links for registration and more information.
Employee End of Year Wellness Celebration
Attention all VCS employees, the Wellness Department will have an end of year celebration where the 2022-23 overall team wellness challenge winners will be awarded the Silver Cup. The top four team challenge winners and Volusia County Schools' Wellness Champions will also receive awards and recognition on the One Daytona Victory Circle stage! Guests are welcome. Summer VPK Registration Kickoff!
Registration for Summer VPK has officially opened. The dates for this program will run Monday - Thursday, June 12 to August 3, 2023. The school day is from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30pm.

Families raising children with special needs repeatedly express frustration about not having the resources they need to not only meet their personal needs but those of their children. Though these, requests, Easterseals NECFL established, Special Kids Special Families. A forum where families can:
- learn from local experts about a different topic each month
- learn about resources in the community
- establish support and interactions with other parents that are on the same journey
