Charge Policy/Alternate Meal
The United States Department of Agriculture requires schools to inform parents and guardians of the their school’s Meal Charge Policy. All schools operating the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs must have a written and clearly communicated policy to ensure a consistent and transparent message.

Wellness News and Policy
The School Board is committed to providing a school environment that enhances learning and the development of lifelong wellness strategies. Through the collaborative efforts of district administrators, the school food service department (School Way Café), school administrators, teachers, students, parents, school board members, representatives from local hospitals, in partnership with the Volusia County Health Department, the School Health Advisory Committee, and the District Advisory Committee, the wellness policy was developed and adopted to meet the needs of this district.
