Ride Smart VCS

Volusia County Schools is launching Ride Smart VCS, a new e-bike and e-scooter safety initiative designed to help students ride to school safely, legally and with confidence.

Students who plan to ride an e-bike or e-scooter to a VCS campus must complete the FREE Ride Smart VCS E-Ride Safety Course and receive a permit sticker for their device.

The self-paced online course takes about 30 minutes and covers legal e-bikes and gear, Florida laws, safe riding and crash prevention, and campus rules.
