2025-26 School Grade Highlights and Noteworthy Accomplishments

• For the second time in history and consecutively, all Volusia County high schools earned an "A" or "B" grade.
• Eleven of 12 middle schools maintained or increased their grade and/or total possible points.
• 35 of 45 elementary schools increased their total percentage of possible points compared to the previous school year.
• Nine of 12 middle schools increased their total percentage of possible points compared to the previous school year.
• Seven of 11 high schools increased their total percentage of possible points compared to the previous school year.

Our "A" Schools

• Mainland High School, which earned its first-ever "A" in school history last year, earned a higher "A" grade.
• Pride and Sunrise elementary schools earned an "A" for the first time since 2011.
• Southwestern Middle School earned an "A" for the first time since 2010.
• Woodward Avenue Elementary School earned an "A" for the first time since 2014.

Our "B" Schools

• T. DeWitt Taylor Middle-High School, which earned its first-ever "B" in school history last year, earned a higher "B" grade.
• Orange City Elementary School earned a "B" for the first time since 2009.
• Westside Elementary School earned a "B" for the first time since 2014.
