VCS Announces Hurricane Makeup Plan

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
VCS announces hurricane makeup plan
DELAND – Volusia County Schools has adjusted the school calendar to make up instructional time lost due to Hurricane Milton.
The following early-release days will now be regular school days: Dec. 20, Feb. 19, March 12, and May 21.
The remainder of the instructional time lost due to Milton, as well as the one day lost due to Hurricane Helene, will be absorbed into the current schedule.
