Volusia County Schools Summer Plans

DELAND — Volusia County Schools (VCS) will continue providing FREE Breakfast and Lunch meals for students. The summer program runs from June 1 through July 30, 2020. Meals will be available for pick-up only between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at each designated school site. Students must be present, or proper identification presented by a guardian. For each day of distribution, students will receive breakfast and lunch for two days. In addition, district staff will hand out meals directly to walkers and/or bike riders that may lack motor-vehicle transportation. There will not be any public access to the school buildings during this time period. Meals will no longer be distributed from bus depot locations due to the County of Volusia opening up 60 feeding sites in the same areas starting June 1. For a list of designated pickup sites, please see the Summer 2020 Information page.
