VCS Update 1/4/2021

VCS families and employees,

Happy New Year! We hope you had a healthy and safe winter break.

Remember, classes resume tomorrow, Tuesday, January 5, and our first early release day of 2021 will be Wednesday, January 6.

In preparation for tomorrow, we want to provide a few reminders related to the coronavirus. Any student or employee who is sick or has symptoms of an infectious illness should stay home and also notify their school administrator or workplace supervisor immediately. Anyone who has been in close contact with a COVID-19 infected person should follow our COVID protocols.

We must all do our part to keep our schools and community healthy! Be sure to wear a face-covering and make sure to cover both your mouth and nose. Wash your hands frequently, and practice social distancing whenever possible. Please adhere to our Safety & Health Procedures.

We also wanted to alert our families and employees of a potential traffic issue in the vicinity of LPGA Boulevard and U.S. 92 in Daytona Beach on Tuesday morning. Vaccines are being given at the Municipal Stadium, and traffic was heavy in that area this morning.

Thank you, and we are excited to resume classes tomorrow!
