VCS health academies are donating unused classroom PPE supplies (Personal Protective Equipment including gowns, gloves, and masks) to AdventHealth.

Pictured above, from left to right you have Renae Lee, Pine Ridge High Healthcare Academy Director, and Brandy Meadows, Deltona High Health Services Academy Director who took items to be donated. Kathleen Rich-Zois (not pictured), New Smyrna Beach High School Medical Services Academy Director, was also involved in collection of donation items.

A quote from Brandy, Renae, & Kathleen is below:

"Our hearts are hurting as we see our fellow healthcare workers, our partners in education, on the front lines during this pandemic. The items that were donated ( gloves, masks, and gowns) could not compare to what the medical professionals are doing on a day to day basis caring for our community. We always appreciate their assistance with our students throughout the school year and we were glad we could provide something to contribute to their safety. We want to let them know that they are in our thoughts each day. Their gratitude and humility for the small amount of donations showed how desperate a need there is for Personal Protective Equipment. We truly commend their commitment to service! Bravo! #WEAREALLINTHISTOGETHER"
