March 24, 2020 - Update on Advanced Studies By Program
ADVANCED PLACEMENT EXAMS (Will continue, 45-minute online exams)
TALLAHASSEE, Fla., March 24, 2020 – Beginning on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, Florida students will have access to free, live Advanced Placement (AP) review lessons delivered by AP teachers from across the country. These optional, mobile-friendly classes are designed to be used alongside work that may be given by schools.
In addition, for the 2019-20 AP Exam administration only, the College Board is developing secure 45-minute online exams for each course. These streamlined digital exams will not require any test booklet shipments, external proctors or any additional workload for schools.
The exam content will focus on what schools were able to complete by early March. Students can take the exam on any device they have access to – computer, tablet or smartphone – and other options may be available by contacting the College Board.

CAMBRIDGE EXAMS (Cancelled)
Today (March 23, 2020), therefore, we have taken the difficult decision not to run our international examinations in the May/June 2020 series in any country. This includes Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge O Level, Cambridge International AS & A Level, Cambridge AICE Diploma and Cambridge Pre-U.
We recognize that students have been working very hard towards these exams. We will be working with schools to assess students’ achievements using the best available evidence. Students will receive a grade and a certificate from Cambridge International, given the knowledge and skills they have acquired in their programs of study. This will ensure students do not face disadvantage as a result of these extraordinary circumstance.
