Volusia County Schools offers three medical plans through Florida Health Care: Point of Service (POS), Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and Triple Option. Volusia County Schools also offers one medical plan through Florida Blue: Health Reimbursement Account (HRA).

The goal of Extended Hours Care Centers is to create a healthier, happier and more productive workforce while helping to control the escalating costs of healthcare. Extended Hours Care Centers offer employees extended clinic hours, same-day appointments, and lower co-pays for Florida Health Care Plans Members. Florida Blue Members have the same convenience of utilizing our Extended Hours Centers but at the cost of their medical benefit. Call the Florida health Care Plans Central Scheduling Department at (386)676-7198 for same day scheduling requests at one of our Extended Hours Care Centers.
