Halifax Behavioral Services
Halifax Behavioral Services provides comprehensive services to children and adolescents with significant emotional and behavioral problems. This includes psychiatric and psychological services for children ages 2-17 in Volusia, Flagler and St. Johns counties. Individual, family and group counseling are also available through Halifax Behavioral Services.
Through a cooperative agreement between Volusia County Schools and Halifax Health, school-age clients of Halifax Behavioral Services who have been medically placed in specific on-site programs will receive instruction in a classroom that is staffed by a Volusia County Schools teacher. Placement into site-based treatment or medical programs for children and adolescents can only be made by designated Halifax Behavior Services staff. For more information on services provided by Halifax Behavioral Services, please see contact at bottom of the page.
