This is a commitment facility for adults, operated by Volusia County government. A separate designated unit holds juveniles, up to age 18 who are awaiting court hearings on adult charges or awaiting transfer to a state correctional facility. General education studies, GED prep curriculum and other related educational services are provided to all youth, up to age 18.
