Research Request Process

 

Volusia County Schools collaborates with colleges, universities, and other agencies to support research studies that are aligned to Volusia County Schools strategic plan goals and focus areas. Research requests are reviewed by the department of Research, Evaluation and Accountability. The process is aligned with Title 34, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 97 and Title 45, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 46.

The request to conduct research in Volusia County Schools application must be e-mailed to arteron@volusia.k12.fl.us. The review process may take anywhere from 6-8 weeks. Incomplete applications will not be considered for approval. Once a complete application is submitted, an e-mail notification verifying receipt of application will be sent to research applicant.
