Notice is hereby given that the School Board of Volusia County, Florida, will hold a public meeting on January 13, 2026 at 4:30 PM at 200 N. Clara Ave., DeLand, Florida to discuss the acquisition of:

1. Scholars Path easement which provides access to Manatee Cove Elementary and River Springs Middle School
2. Tarpon Towers Communications Tower located at 1860 N. Clyde Morris Boulevard at David C. Hinson Sr. Middle School

If any person decides to appeal any decision made by the school board with respect to any matter considered at said meeting, he/she will need to record the proceedings and, for such purpose, may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.  In accordance with Americans with Disabilities Act persons needing a special accommodation to participate in this proceeding should contact the Office of the Superintendent at (386) 734-7190, ext. 20210, at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting. 

Notice is hereby given that the School Board of Volusia County, Florida, will hold a public meeting on November 18, 2025 at 4:30 PM at 200 N. Clara Ave., DeLand, Florida to discuss the purchase of 1320 Herbert Street, Port Orange.  An agenda of the meeting will be published and available prior to the meeting. If approved, the closing will occur at least 30 days following the board meeting.

Clara Ave., DeLand, Florida.  An agenda of the meeting was published and available prior to the meeting at 200 N. Clara Ave., DeLand, Florida. During said meeting the school board voted to enter into a purchase agreement for the property at 158 Harvard Dr, Ormond Beach, FL 32176. Closing is scheduled on or before March 31, 2026.
