Systems Engineering Manager, Matt Hilton

- Device Support: install, update, and troubleshoot the software and hardware used by staff and students including laptops, desktops, and essential applications.
- Maintaining Core Systems and Backups: manage both physical and virtual server infrastructures, storage, and software in the district’s data center that supports essential services. Ensure that critical data is regularly backed up and can be restored quickly when needed, keeping systems secure and reliable.
- Support Cloud Tools: Manage cloud-based systems such as Microsoft Office 365, making sure staff and students can access email, documents, and other tools they need every day.
- Instructional Technology Support: Collaborate with other ITS teams to support digital tools for teaching and learning.
- Systems Security: Keep systems updated regularly and work closely with the Cyber Security Team to provide for a secure and safe working environment.
- Communications Support: We support communication systems that help staff, students, and parents stay connected and informed.
- Advanced Technical Support: Act as the final point of escalation for the Client Services Department and other technical staff, helping resolve complex issues that require deeper systems expertise.
