The Pictona Wellness event was a blast! Seasoned players joined personnel new to it, whom had group instruction. We took a break from playing to enjoy delicious food prepared by Pictona! We look forward to seeing everyone at future events! 
Eat Smart, Move More... Maintain, don't gain! Holiday Challenge 11/14 - 12/31.

Rather than focusing on trying to lose weight, this FREE seven-week challenge provides you with strategies and resources to help maintain your weight throughout the holiday season. Participants should consult with their healthcare provider before beginning a new exercise or nutrition plan.

Contact Deia' Goff for a Challenge Kit, only the first 50 participants will receive a kit. Send your completed tracker to Deia' Goff by January 6th to be entered into a drawing to win a personal training session at a FHCP Preferred Fitness Center of your choice (center must offer P.T.)!

Form a team and take part in the VCS Wellness Program "Road to Wellness" campaign! Teams will compete in different Wellness Initiatives for points to win the traveling silver cup and be honored at an end of year celebration at One Daytona's Victory Circle.

Two Team Wellness Challenges have been completed! 43 teams participated in our first team Walking Challenge, The Great River Walk, logging over 30,000 miles!

The second team challenge, Relax and Revive had a great response, over 90 self-care kits were sent out to participatants.  

The third team challenge, Eat Well Challenge, details are below:

  • Eat Well Challenge: March 6th – April 30th in correlation with March National Nutrition Month
  • You may earn your team an additional 50 additional points for completing an online Health Assessment: 

The winning team will have the choice of a healthy breakfast, lunch, or after school/work celebration of their choice at their area. 

Three lucky winners will be randomly drawn, where they may choose one of the following prizes of their choice: Nutribullet, Fitbit, or massage gun: Prize Flyer

Extended Hours Care Centers

The goal of Extended Hours Care Centers is to create a healthier, happier and more productive workforce while helping to control the escalating costs of healthcare. Extended Hours Care Centers offer employees extended clinic hours, same-day appointments, and lower co-pays for Florida Health Care Plans Members. Florida Blue Members have the same convenience of utilizing our Extended Hours Centers but at the cost of their medical benefit. Call the Florida health Care Plans Central Scheduling Department at (386)676-7198 for same day scheduling requests at one of our Extended Hours Care Centers.
