Minority Recruitment
Diversity is a hallmark of American culture and is often highlighted as one of our societal strengths. As a school district, it is important for our workforce to mirror the demographics of our local communities and students in our schools. Working with and learning from a diverse spectrum of people representing various cultures and experiences is vital to the education of all our students in order to prepare them to be contributing members of our democratic society.

Our teachers serve as educators, role models and life coaches. Providing the ideas, means and motivation for our minority students is essential to their success in education. Our district associations discuss opportunities and ideas to encourage minority teacher recruitment.
