Secondary STEM Buses

The Volusia County Schools STEM Buses bring engaging, hands-on STEM learning experiences directly to students across the district. Designed as mobile classrooms, the STEM Buses provide access to innovative activities that inspire curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving while connecting classroom instruction to real-world applications. Through interactive lessons in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, students participate in age-appropriate challenges that may include robotics, engineering design, coding, environmental investigations, and emerging technologies. By traveling to schools throughout Volusia County, the STEM Buses ensure equitable access to high-quality STEM experiences for all students, helping build interest in STEM careers and preparing learners with the skills needed for success in college, careers, and the future workforce.
