Graduation rates are in!

The Florida Department of Education released high school graduation rates today, and we are thrilled to share that our overall rate has increased once again! For the Class of 2025, Volusia County Schools’ graduation rate increased by 1.9 percentage points from 93.7% in 2023-2024 to 95.6% in 2024-2025.

Highlights include:

  • Volusia County’s graduation rate increased for the third consecutive year.
  • Spruce Creek High School had the highest graduation rate at 99.5%.
  • T. Dewitt Taylor Middle-High School's graduation rate rose by 9.4 points, from 89.8% in 2023-2024 to 99.2% in 2024-2025.

This achievement reflects the incredible dedication of our students, educators, and families.

Congratulations to Erika Kazma, a physical education teacher from R.J. Longstreet Elementary School in Daytona Beach, has been named Volusia County Schools' 2027 Teacher of the Year. She was selected from 70 nominees representing schools countywide and was one of five finalists for the district award. Kazma will now represent Volusia in the state Teacher of the Year program.

This college expo affords students to level up their future through early college exposure and planning for their post-secondary goals. Parent Portal - Focus Information

Dear Families,

The Parent Consent for Health Services form has moved to an online format and is now available in the Parent Portal on Focus. This form is required for all students, even if you submitted a paper Emergency Card earlier this school year.

Please take a moment to log in to the Parent Portal and review the form. Additional details and reminders will be shared when we return in January 2026.
