The foundation of the Reading and English Language Arts office is to connect literacy learning across all subject areas. We continue to strengthen the skills students need to effectively read, write, speak, listen and communicate in the 21st century. We support the curricula for English and language arts courses, as well as intensive reading instruction, at all levels. Along with our teachers and literacy coaches, we organize and promote the annual Battle of the Books competition.
